It doesn’t feel like autumn quite yet. As I write this Sunday afternoon, it’s in the mid 90s and the sun is bright in the sky. Where is the weather for sweaters and jackets? I’m so ready for it!

I can’t believe January 2020 has already come to an end. Now begins my busiest month of the year at work. Transfers and transfers and more transfers! I’ll have to say the same thing every day at least ten times a day if not more. Oh, and I must not sound as if it’s the umpteenth time I’m saying that same thing. I woke every day this week not remembering what day of the week it was. I woke up on Monday thinking it was something like Thursday and so on. The only reason I knew it wasn’t Friday was because I wasn’t wearing jeans. When it was finally Friday, the morning passed like a Monday morning (super fast). All in all, a freakin’ confusing week.

Happy 2020! Our New Year’s Eve was rather lowkey. I had fallen asleep but woke up about ten minutes before midnight. Two minutes before midnight, all the noise started (hopefully just fireworks) then it was 2020. A new year, a new decade- what does the future hold?

It’s that time of year when you’re not sure what day of the week it is. Or at least for me. I decided that instead of one whole big chuck of time off during winter break, I’d make two long weekends of five days each. As I begin this, I’m at the first day of my second long weekend.
